“ Everything at Furlong's is amazing. But I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich. It's the perfect amount of crunch and the perfect amount of ice cream for me anyway. my children and my husband always get shakes, and we love the fact that it's not a 15 minute wait for an ice cream shake. ”
“ Lucky for us we found that the new an updated version of Furlongs cottage candies and ice cream they have moved to a new location just off the center of town and Norwood. They had to move in their other original building on route one a few months back. I believe it was. The girls inside is still very friendly and helpful and explain everything and the store is probably twice the size of the other one which is nice but everything still smells like they just made it like you walk in the door. You're overwhelmed by the smell of chocolate and fruit in the roasted nuts. Everything is just out of this world. I'm so excited to have them, still with us and able to get to them ”

“ Great spot for a satisfying scoop or sundae. There were so many classic flavors to choose from and they had fun items like frozen chocolate bananas and dipped cones. The blackberry chocolate frozen yogurt was excellent - creamy and full of berry flavor. A small cup was a huge serving and with sprinkles was only $5 so you get your moneys worth. Lots of parking in the back and a walk up window with outdoor seating. There is also a candy shop attached that we didn't get a chance to check out. ”
“ Great overall experience, everyone was very pleasant. The crew helped me with a very large order for my wedding. I got their infamous Penuche fudge as a gift for my wedding guests. They took the time to individually box it up and wrapped each box with a ribbon. All in all a great experience and I highly recommend! ”

“ Since I moved to the south shore Furlongs has taken up a prominent place in my gift roster. The chocolate covered Twinkies were a BIG hit last Christmas with both the kids and the adults! They have lots of cute candy molds that are always a hit with the kids and they have nice boxes of assortments for all of your big occasions. I also really enjoy the truffle boxes - they are smaller but the truffles are so rich. They've also moved recently! And the new place is cute and super convenient as it abuts the public parking lot in Norwood center. I'm sure it will also get a ton of foot traffic now for ice cream in the summer. I love the mural outside... but it had black cats and I am super partial to them =) The staff is attentive, always address you as soon as they see you. it's a great candy shop. ”
“ A family favorite for decades ! We come here mostly for the ice cream. My wife likes the unique favors. My son loves the cones in classic flavors and the shakes. The staff at the walk up window are courteous and helpful. We always tip to show our appreciation. We have shopped the indoor candy store for gifts, especially around the holidays. The parking lot has ample parking. The ice cream is good, and we shall return. ”
